24-Hour Skilled Nursing
Sharon Care Center provides 24-hour skilled nursing services in all areas of short-term and long-term care. The nursing team focus encompasses the residents' total emotional and physical well being while providing treatment and medication administration. Quality of patient care is assured through a rigorous Quality Assurance Program, where patient treatment and outcomes are tracked and reviewed.
Long-Term Skilled Nursing Care

- Discharge planning, including home assessment and evaluation of therapeutic services and equipment needs
Social Services
Social Services assist with each resident's adjustment after admission to Regency Manor Rehabilitation Center. Staff continues to monitor the resident's social and emotional well being during their stay. Social Services will work closely with the family, physician, and resident to coordinate discharge plans. Sharon Care Center can make referrals to community resources when appropriate.
Hospice Care
Sharon Care Center’s Hospice Care Program is designed to provide sensitivity and support for people in the final phase of a terminal illness. Working in conjunction with area hospice programs, Sharon Care Center provides skilled nursing care to manage a patient's illness in a dignified manner, enhancing the quality of life in the last days.
Respite Program
Sharon Care Center also provides respite care, for a few days or a few weeks, for caregivers in the community. Contact the Admissions Coordinator for information or a reservation.
Activities
Scheduled recreational and social activities are designed to be therapeutic in nature and are conducted according to residents' interests and abilities such as :
- Music therapy and music programs
- Resident volunteer program
- Pet therapy
- A variety of special activities and holiday programs
- Community outings
- Cultural enrichment through audio and visual media
- Religious services
Additional Services
Registered Dietitian maintains optimal nutrition for all residents
Discharge planning and training with residents and their family to allow them to manage illnesses and function independently in their own home.
Licensed Therapist provide physical and speech therapy, as well as occupational therapy for residents who may be recovering from major surgery, neurological and orthopedic conditions and other illnesses, injuries or disabilities.
SPECIAL CARE UNIT
Alzheimer’s and other Dementia Care
We believe that quality of life can be enhanced for an individual with dementia. By communicating comfort, warmth, and praise, we believe we can meet the unique social and physical needs of people with Dementia and their families. We strive for a balance between safety and independence for each resident within a loving community. Our specialized unit is structured with:
- Eating opportunities at eight times through a 24 hour clock
- Core activities- Toileting, grooming, bathing, dressing and eating
- Necessary activities- Natural sleep, rest/relaxation, time out/privacy
- Essential activities- Communication, movement, intimacy/touch
